The Tour Guide Program:

Jordan is considered to be one of the countries where many cultures were established, most importantly the Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Islamic civilizations, which have all contributed to the cultural fabric of the world in different forms, such as Accommodations, Palaces, Temples, Churches, Mosques, Cities, Theatres, Recreational Facilities, Castles and Shrines, etc in various regions around Jordan.

In addition, the program includes courses that discuss communication skills and tour guiding techniques, together with others that introduce various activities associated with the social aspects of Jordanian society, so that the tour guide is able to explain the culture behind all attractions to all types of tourists. Realizing the importance of the practical side of education, the Ammon Applied University College organizes (17) practical trips to most of the touristic and historical sites in Jordan, with licensed tour-guides in attendance, in order to shed light on the practical and technical issues of tour guiding.

Also we introduce the theme of the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism as an international code of conduct in different subjects during the course.

The Tour Guiding Program Duration:

The Tour Guide course is conducted over six months, divided into two semesters, with total of (360) hours.
