
Hotel Management Internship
Industry training is an essential ingredient to students’ overall development, regardless of course levels or the anticipated career in the hospitality sector.
Ammon Applied University College requires its students to do an internship in the operational and non- operational hotel departments as a graduation requirement in all its academic programs where students are placed at either AAUC on-campus training hotel (Century Park) or at one of the four- or five- star hotel chains in Jordan or abroad at USA with the American Hospitality Academy (AHA) .
This Internship provides students with the opportunity to reinforce and apply the principles and practices of the academic curriculum in a real operational hotel environment, where students can develop their professional expertise, improve their technical and analytical skills, and grow personally and professionally.
goal of the internship :
the internship is the basic of college curriculum and have for student must spend the training period in the operational departments of the hotel ( such as : front office , housekeeping , restaurant and kitchen ) anf non-operational departments (such as : purchasing store , and human resources ) , in door to develop the necessary management skills to succeed in this industry.
The goals of this internship placement are:
- Develop individual maturity, self-awareness and confidence.
- Provide structured, practical experience with the industry’s operations, customers and staff.
- Consolidate skills learned during studies and understand the industry standards and the required levels of performance.
